Dear reader,
I am a gaffer and multidisciplinary filmmaker working in Toronto.
I graduated with a BFA in Film Production from York University and specialized in cinematography, lighting, and experimental filmmaking.
I grew up in Damascus, Syria and immigrated to Canada as a teenager. This fundamental experience informs my interest in diaspora narrative and my commitment to telling stories needing to be heard.
I am a strong believer that brilliance on the screen must be paired with empathy behind the scenes. A delicate and thoughtful approach in the production process will find itself mirrored in the sincerity of the narrative itself.
